Key Stage Three students at Bethnal Green Technology College are to be found with notebooks in hand looking for headline news.  Mr. Young has set up an editorial team which will produce BGTC's regular student magazine.  Filled with coverage of school events, competitions and special features the magazine promises to be a great success.  The roving reporters are not only producing a great magazine they're also improving their English and IT skills into the bargain. 



Re-united Germany was the location of Morpeth School's most recent international trip.  Building on previous successful trips to New York, France and Belgium, thirty-four year 11 students visited Berlin for six days this  October. 

The talented historians that went on the trip had the opportunity to visit sights of particular importance such as the newly reconstructed Reichstag, the former Checkpoint Charlie and the 1936 Olympic Stadium. Laura Worsley, Deputy Headteacher at Morpeth explained 'The trip is aimed at enriching students' understanding of Twentieth Century German history.'  Morpeth students were excellent ambassadors for
Connect 5 schools with a number of links being established that will be useful for schools considering a similar trip.
